Skiing on Service Roads / Open Areas

Skiing on Forest Service roads or open areas, a Sno-Park permit may be required.  The State Department of Parks-Recreation posts a sign in the parking area.  The permits allow skiers to ski in 19 snow-park locations near Fresno and Lake Tahoe.  A November through May 30 season permits costs $?, one-day pass $?.  Season permits can be bought at sporting goods stores, by members of California California State Automobile Association or by writing California Parks and Recreation, Sno-Park Program, P.O.
